About me

Hi! My name is Nikki Lowman. I am a licensed clinical social worker in North Carolina with 5 years of professional work experience. I specialize in providing trauma-based and client-centered therapy to help clients find peace and serenity in the middle of many storms life can bring. My goal is to always help clients understand that when you cannot change your environment, you change the way you respond to your environment. I am an LGBTQ+ affirming therapist and a trauma-informed therapist. My approach to therapy is warm, interactive, and collaborative. I have experience in working with adolescents and young adults who have concerns related to anxiety, stress, depression, ADHD, & trauma, and abuse. As well as concerns related to adjusting to college, divorce/separation of parents, or any other changes life can bring.
