About me

I am licensed in Tennessee with almost 5 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, family conflicts, anger management, & depression as well as numerous other issues. I have worked in private practice and a county detention facility while living in Colorado and most recently community mental health in Tennessee. I graduated from the University of the Cumberlands in Williamsburg, Kentucky with two master degrees in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Addictions Counseling. After growing up in East Tennessee, I spent 10 years in Kentucky and 3 years in the rocky mountains of Colorado. While I feel blessed to have had those experiences, I am excited to be “back home” in the volunteer state. As well as a wife, stepmom (bonus mom), grandmother (aka Mims), and dog mom to Cooper (golden retriever), Josie (labradoodle), and Finnegan (pup of Cooper and Josie), I am also a daughter, granddaughter, sister, aunt, and friend. In my spare time, I love traveling, hiking, reading, watching movies, attending sporting events, and trying new foods! I believe that you are the expert of your story and that you have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming things that challenge you. Taking the first step to seeking a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage. I am here to support and encourage you in that process.
