About me

Hello, my name is Ana Parra I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas. I have 10 years experience working in the field of mental health. Throughout my career I have worked with children ages 5-13 years of age, adolescents, and adults. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, low self -esteem, self-harm, substance abuse, trauma, and relationship issues. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity and compassion. My goal is to provide all of my clients with a safe space in which they can freely express themselves without fear of judgement. My therapy style is warm and interactive. My approaches to therapy include client centered, solution focused, strengths based therapy, CBT, Behavioral Therapy and psychoanalytical therapy. Seeking help is not an easy thing to do.
