About me

Hello! My name is Andrea Daigle and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Maine. I have been working within the mental health field for over 15 years, and as a therapist for over 5 years now. I have worked with individuals experiencing a variety of concerns including that of depression, anxiety and stress related issues, trauma, grief/loss, self esteem/self worth among many others. My decision to become a therapist comes with many answers. It feels natural and right for me to be in a position to provide an empathetic and non-judgmental safe space, and I am forever is awe of the strength of our human kind. I have had the opportunity to work in a hospital setting, outpatient setting and within a school, all giving me a well rounded passion to help others. I earned my Masters in Social Work degree at the University of New England in 2015. I would describe myself as compassionate, knowledgeable, patient and kind. I believe that we all do the best that we can with what we have. It would be my privilege to join you on this journey of growth, or through difficult times. I use various modalities and practicing in a rural area has helped me to become much of a “generalist,” employing various motivational techniques, solution focused techniques along with cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavioral therapy.
