Anna Carpentieri (LCSW)

I am licensed in New York with over 5 years of professional work experience helping clients of all ages and backgrounds gain insight and fulfillment in their life. I’ve been using online platforms for therapy for over 4 years, and I really like the flexibility of connecting virtually, as well as all the resources that are available online. I love working with people, and hearing more about who they are and where they would like to go in life. I approach each situation with genuine curiosity and care, in order to provide the best support for each client. I have experience in helping clients manage feelings of depression, anxiety, stress, trauma, loss, and more. I am a person-centered therapist, helping each person recognize their own strengths and overcome the challenges they are facing. I would describe my therapy style as warm and somewhat casual, as I like to let me clients lead the way! I also have experience with CBT, DBT, mindfulness, and narrative therapy. Some tools I’ve used with others in the past include, visualization techniques, journaling, breathing techniques, and worksheets. Using an online platform allows for a lot of different options, so I try to tailor my approach to each client based on what will work for them.
