We often look for happiness outside of ourselves although happiness exists within us and is just waiting for the door to be opened. You truly have the power inside of you to overcome those obstacles that keep getting in the way of your happiness and overall wellbeing! My name is April and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Tennessee. I have been working in the mental health and addictions field for 20+ years in a broad array of clinical settings; including inpatient care, partial hospitalization programs, intensive outpatient programs, in-home care, and individual outpatient therapy. I will use a collaborative approach to assist clients in mindfully processing emotions, achieving overall acceptance of self, and gaining the empowerment of emotional regulation.
