About me

I am a licensed clinical social worker in New York with 3 years of experience working in direct practice. I’ve worked mainly with older adults and people of all ages experiencing chronic pain. I’ve also provided group therapy, diagnostic assessment and case management to people suffering from depression, anxiety, schizophrenia, traumatic brain injury and bipolar disorder. I believe that a supportive therapeutic environment in which the client is truly heard coupled with teaching relevant and effective skills will give clients the best outcomes. I utilize an established educational tool known as pain trainer when assisting with chronic pain. I also use motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral techniques and believe strongly in connecting clients to relevant resources. It is brave to better yourself through therapy.
