About me

I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor licensed in North Carolina and a Licensed Professional Counselor in South Carolina. I have over 35 years of experience working as a psychotherapist in mental health facilities and private practice. I am Eagala certified and have been providing Equine Assisted Psychotherapy for 16 years. I have worked with adolescents, adults and couples and families with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, grief, relationship issues, domestic violence, trauma and sexual trauma, self esteem and confidence issues and addictions. My counseling style is direct, warm, and interactive. I meet clients where they are in their process and believe that clients have the best answers for themselves and need help in finding those answers. I have an eclectic approach which includes, Cognitive Behavioral, Client Centered, and Solution Focused modalities. My hope is to assist others in working towards finding their best and authentic self.
