About me

Hello! I’m Caroline Seder, a Licensed Independent Social Worker–Clinical Practice (LISW-CP) and approved supervisor in South Carolina. I specialize in helping people navigate life’s challenges with compassion, evidence-based strategies, and a collaborative approach. I have over six years of professional experience in mental health and social services, working with individuals facing stress, anxiety, trauma, family conflict, housing instability, and chronic health concerns. In my current role as a Social Work Supervisor and Therapist, I provide therapy to clients while also leading programs that support housing stability, crisis response, and overall well-being. My work has included serving individuals with HIV/AIDS, those experiencing homelessness, and adolescents in psychiatric care. I earned my Master’s in Social Work with a focus on Health and Mental Health from the University of South Carolina, along with a Graduate Certificate in Drug and Addiction Studies. I also hold a Bachelor of Science in Public Health with a minor in Psychology. I’m trained in suicide intervention, crisis counseling, and trauma-informed care, and I have extensive experience leading support groups, providing individual and group therapy, and coordinating care across multiple systems. My approach to therapy is client-centered, strengths-based, and grounded in the belief that everyone has the capacity for growth and healing. I aim to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can explore challenges, develop coping skills, and build on your resilience. Whether you’re facing a period of transition, coping with grief or trauma, or seeking support for ongoing mental health concerns, I’m here to walk alongside you in your journey toward wellness.
