About me

A big believer in taking back control of one’s life, I focus on offering useful feedback and support to help address various life challenges. I use a compassionate and empathic approach in meeting clients where they are and delivering appropriate interventions and strategies throughout the counseling process. I strive to teach individuals to develop and use skills to cope with their individual setbacks in order to live healthy and fulfilling lives. A transplant from the northeast, I moved to Jacksonville in 2002 for undergraduate studies. I obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Jacksonville University in 2006 and a Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Capella University in 2011. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, National Certified Counselor, and Qualified Supervisor in Florida. I have worked in a multitude of environments and with people in various stages of their lives. I am well experienced in dealing with crisis situations as well as day to day life issues. Mymain goal is to help you achieve positive personal growth and ultimately reach your full potential.
