About me

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of Missouri. I graduated with a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Kansas. I have worked in psychiatric settings for most of my career, including senior counseling, hospice, Veterans and First Responders. I have also worked with the LGBTQ+ community. Everyone is a unique individual, with experiences that are not necessarily grouped into a ‘category”. My primary style is client based. I will meet you where you are and undertake your journey toward self-discovery and healing with you, at your pace. You will find me to be very non- judgemental, easy to talk with, compassionate and understanding. I also like to laugh with my clients at the appropriate time. It is healing. I know it is not easy to reach out for help. The pain you are experiencing is not uncommon, our society makes it difficult at times to discuss emotional pain with others. I am interested in you, your life experience and your primary concerns at this time. I hope I get to meet you!
