As a therapist, it is a privilege to be able to create a safe space for my clients—a space that gives you an opportunity to improve self-confidence, cope with anxiety, work through relationship issues or trauma, or gain control of thoughts and emotions while building strength, awareness, and resilience. Because our lives are a constant state of transition, we have the opportunity to learn from the past and navigate our present through awareness and understanding of ourselves, and others. I feel it a great honor to support you in life’s transitions and encourage your awareness and growth. My job is to help you explore thoughts and feelings and find direction for happier and healthier living. I believe in a solution focused approach that includes tackling dysfunctional thinking, teaching healthy coping skills, addressing sources of distress, drawing from faith and values, understanding each unique situation, and identifying possible solutions. I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) with 32 years experience in the mental health field assisting clients through grief and loss, abrupt or long-term life challenges, stress and anxiety, trauma, and depression.
