About me

I am experience clinician with over 30 years of professional work experience. I have done extensive research on trauma in the United States and abroad. I received my clinical training at Columbia University graduate program and postgraduate training at other institutes. I am trained in evidence-based modalities, including EMDR, CBT, psychoeducation, psychodrama, and more. I have worked and supervised in various settings, from inpatient psychiatric facilities, corporate employee assistance programs, prison systems, and outpatient programs including providing services to professional athletes in the NFL. I have lectured on trauma, mental illness, addiction, and the manifestation of trauma in men, women, and adolescents. I am a adjuct professor and I have contributed to research on the topic of trauma and co-authored as well. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, coping with addictions, relationship issues, & trauma and abuse. I am sensitive to many of my client’s needs to see change occur, While change is a process I have had a great deal of success in treating chronic and acute trauma related conditions over a short period of time. I work with my clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. Taking the first step to seeking a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage. I am here to support you in that process.
