About me

Hi! My name is Liz Meyer, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of North Dakota. I have experience working with a wide range of individuals experiencing issues related to anxiety, depression, grief, personality disorders, and co-occurring disorders. I have specialized training and education to assist those who have experienced trauma and experiencing trauma related symptoms. I attended the University of North Dakota where I graduated, and earned, a Minor in American Indian Studies, Minor in Chemical Dependency, Bachelor of Science in Social Work (B.S.S.W.), and Master of Social Work (M.S.W.). I am currently licensed in North Dakota as a Licensed Clinical Social Work (LCSW) and Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC). My therapy approach is person-centered, strength-based, and trauma informed. I have been trained in the modalities of therapy of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT); Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT); Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR); Brief cognitive-behavioral therapy for suicide prevention (BCBT-SP). I am registered to attend training for Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT) in April 2024. It takes courage to reach out for support and I appreciate the time you took to review my profile.
