About me

My name is Heather O’Connell and I have a Master’s Degree from John Carroll University along with being a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) based in Northeast Ohio. I’ve been counseling for almost 5 years and have experience working with community mental health in a diverse group of clients that range in age from 6 to 18 years of age. I’ve work with clients who have depression, ADHD, Anxiety, Trauma, and PTSD. I’ve had success in gaining strong counselor-client therapeutic relationships as well as providing appropriate and rewarding treatment for the client. Mental Health is something that I’m very passionate about and love the work that I do. What I always strive to do with the people that I work with is to help them reach their goals and be someone that they can rely on and trust to help them through the therapeutic process.
