About me

Welcome — I am so glad you’re here. My name is Jennifer. I am a licensed counselor and certified marriage and family therapist, with 15 years of clinical experience. Taking the initiative to meet with a therapist takes courage. Congratulations on taking this courageous step. No matter what your goals or issues you are facing, we can work on them together. With a personalized and integrative approach, I draw from a variety of evidence-based techniques that are tailored to your individual needs. My passion is to empower my clients, help you reach your unique goals, build upon your strengths, and navigate through the challenges you are facing. I offer a safe and supportive space to explore your thoughts and emotions without judgment, as well as gain new perspectives and develop tools to cope and grow. I work with a wide range of mental health and substance abuse challenges, including anxiety, depression, grief, OCD, relationship issues, addiction, anger management, social anxiety, life transitions, family conflict, ADHD, and more. I bring a unique blend of expertise to my clients. I have worked with individuals struggling with issues ranging from daily stress to severe complex mental health concerns, in a variety of settings, including behavioral health hospitals, emergency rooms, hospital medical floors, and outpatient programs. I also served as the lead counselor for over 10 years at one of the largest behavioral health hospitals in Georgia, providing services to clients, as well as supervising other counselors. I earned two degrees from the University of Georgia, which also provided me the honor to gain research experience in the psychopharmacology laboratory at UGA. Life doesn’t come with a GPS. Whether you’re navigating the weight of depression, the constant buzz of anxiety, the pressure of everyday stress, life changes, or the loss of a loved one…you don’t have to face it alone. If you’re struggling in your relationships, feeling overwhelmed, or just feeling stuck in life, therapy can offer the space and support to find clarity, healing, and growth. Or, maybe you’re simply ready for a change or want to build greater self-understanding, but unsure where to begin. Therapy offers a route to meaningful growth and lasting change, wherever you are on your journey.
