About me

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 37 years of experience, I’ve observed how childhood trauma can develop coping mechanisms that may become dysfunctional and evolve into such things as depression, anxiety, codependency, problematic work relationships, substance use, and even addictive patterns of behavior that serve to dull and impair one’s ability to express their needs. As you enter into therapy with me, I believe you will find someone who listens intently, paying attention to not only what you say but also to the underlying emotions and patterns of which you may not be aware .I I will respond with compassion, honesty and at times humor and odd ball references to music, books, sit-coms and movies ( I tend to lean toward fantasy and sci fi, just for the record). I hope to help you find what you have been missing. You bring the flashlight, I will bring the map. I think it will be an awesome journey.
