Therapy offers reflection and redefines what is possible in your life. For nearly two decades I have been in position to see a number of individuals and families take advantage of the opportunity that therapy provides to create functional responses to the ups and downs of being alive. The therapeutic relationship is sacred to me because it is through the client-therapist connection that the mirror of self-awareness becomes clear. It is not unusual for each member of the relationship to have their life touched and changed for the better. I see it as an honor and privilege whenever someone invites me into their life and their private thoughts. It is not our training or our education that makes us effective supporters of self-healing as much as it is our ability to create an environment of trust, honesty, and mutual understanding. Building this relationship and giving individuals the space to make decisions that support their emotional goals has been my area of expertise for quite some time.
