About me

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Ohio. I work best with adults and adolescents. My therapeutic focus is in concerns such as anxiety, depression, grief and trauma. I am generally eclectic in my therapeutic approach with a focus in cognitive behavioral therapy. This approach involves assisting clients with. developing skills for understanding their emotional experience and the cognitions that trigger unhelpful responses. I also utilize mindfulness interventions and assist clients in developing a greater sense of acceptance and self compassion. I believe that when we have greater acceptance and compassion for ourselves, we are better enabled to take committed action to what is important.
