About me

My name is Kimberly Ennis and I have been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker for 13 years. As a Social Worker and Veteran of the United States Army, I bring a range of experiences working in a variety of settings, with people of all different backgrounds. As a result, I believe that addressing culture and environment is essential to the therapeutic process. I am committed to proving a compassionate, culturally sensitive and inclusive space for my clients. I am licensed in the State of North Carolina. I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and a Master’s Degree in Social Work from East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina. I work from a client-focused and strengths-based approach, utilizing a range of evidenced-based modalities, including cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic and dialectical behavioral therapy. My areas of expertise include anxiety, depression and grief, however I have a special interest in working with individuals who struggle with PTSD. I believe that therapy is a collaborative journey, built on trust and vulnerability
