About me

Hello! You’ve come to the right place! My name is Kim and I am a Licensed Clinical Therapist in both Kentucky and Ohio. I have 26 years of professional experience which has been in a wide variety of settings. We all face adversity and challenges in our lives and some extra support and guidance is often what we need to begin taking the steps needed to be our best selves. I have a relaxed non-judgemental approach but tailor my work to meet specific needs. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, motivation, self-esteem, confidence, depression, ptsd, substance abuse issues, adhd and life changes. I have extensive experience with helping families deal with issues related to dementia. Whether you are in the beginning stages of dementia yourself or are a family member caring for someone with dementia, I can teach helpful tools for managing this effectively and decreasing related stress. This situation can feel hopeless but there are ways to cope and still maintain a positive quality of life. I also have extensive experience working with those struggling with bipolar disorder and schizophrenia. Having worked in an outpatient mental health setting for 12 years, I have successfully collaborated with clients to explore best ways to manage these symptoms. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity and compassion. We are, after all, all human in a complicated world. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. Let’s conquer your goals together! I look forward to meeting you!
