About me

I have been a Licensed Mental Health Counselor for many years and have worked in a variety of settings. I especially enjoy working with life transitions, women, spirituality issues, grief and loss, and cultural complexities, as well as anxiety and depression concerns. My counseling style is warm, patient, and accepting. I am a good listener and enjoy the interactive nature of the counseling relationship. My life experience as well as my training informs my treatment approach which is primarily cognitive behavioral and psychodynamic. I can provide an emotionally safe place for you to work with what you bring to the conversation and will honor your uniqueness. I am aware of the courage it takes to pursue greater fulfillment and happiness and admire your willingness to reach out.
