About me

I believe that we already have our own answers inside ourselves and sometimes we just need a little help in unlocking those answers that will aid us in having more productive, fulfilling lives. I tend to view the counseling process as something like opening a treasure chest filled with tidbits that we learn about ourselves to become stronger and navigate our way through our lives better. I have been a Licensed Professional Counselor for 14 years now and have been in the mental health field for 18 years. In that time period, I have worked with a myriad of issues from depression to couples issues to end of life issues and much more. I have worked both in mental health agencies and in private practice. My passion is for helping people. I believe the therapeutic relationship is one of the key elements in great therapy and the better I get to know, and you me, the more effective I can be in helping you to uncover your answers. So, please, reach out and take this journey with me, and together we will work in your best interest and to help you to achieve the goals you have set for yourself.
