About me

I am a counselor with 20 plus years experience. I have the most expertise in terms of substance abuse and LGBT issues. I am in recovery with long term sobriety. I also experienced working with mood disorders and anxiety. I am compassionate and the years of experience I have in the field have basically given me insight into all sorts of client issues. I tend to use humor and rapport building as tools, as I believe that if there is no relationship/trust between therapist and client, therapy will not be productive. I have a genuine compassion for others and am at my best when helping my clients.
