Maysun Elnihum (LPC)

My name is Maysun and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas. I have had the honor of working with children and adults in a private practice setting and at psychiatric facilities. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Brief Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. Opening up to a therapist might make you feel nervous, but it can be helpful to gain new perspectives and insight to your thoughts and behaviors. We aren’t often taught healthy ways to cope with life’s challenges, and I can provide a safe space to work through trauma, relationships, anxiety, negative thinking patterns, and other obstacles. There are many ways you can achieve your goals, and therapy can be one of them!
