About me

Hello and thank you for visiting my profile! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of South Carolina with over 15 years of experience working with individuals and families. I have provided counseling services to clients with an array of concerns to include depression, anxiety, stress, work life balance, parenting, relationship issues, and grief and loss. My experience also consists of work with clients with substance use history and military personnel. I build rapport and gain an understanding of my clients’ concerns using Motivational Interviewing and continue to establish the therapeutic relationship using client-centered therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and solution focused therapy. My approach to counseling is to provide my clients with compassion, empathy and encouragement, without judgment, to find solutions within oneself. I consider myself a vibrant and enthusiastic person and enjoy listening and talking with my clients. I love to incorporate fun conversations and laughter when appropriate.
