About me

I am licensed in Idaho with 4 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients with depression, stress, anxiety, LGBTQ+ related issues, trauma, abuse, & bipolar disorder. I received my first Bachelor of Arts in German Language and Literature from the University of Oregon. I have experienced many career changes, including 4 years of service in the Navy as a Machinist Mate (part of naval engineering). I made it to the rank of Petty Officer 3rd class. I received my second Bachelor of Science in Clinical Psychology from the University of Idaho. I completed my Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University, with an Emphasis in Marriage and Family Counseling. I specialize in the evidence-based modalities of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). I am also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). However, I integrate various therapeutic modalities when applicable. I have mainly worked with teens and adults with difficulties ranging from depression, anxiety, body image issues, life transitions, and suicidality. I am also an ally of the LGBTQIA+ community. I believe you are the expert of your story and that you have many strengths that will help you overcome challenges. It takes courage to seek out a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. I am here to support & empower you in that journey.
