I am Dr. Miguel Koschil, bilingual and bicultural psychotherapist, licensed in the State of Florida. I have over 35 years of experience working in mental health and helping individuals with the following issues: Affective Disorders (Depression and anxiety), marital -relationships and physical-emotional post-trauma. I also developed programs for substance abuse, domestic violence and sex offenders. I utilize a direct, warm and interactive approach, humanistic based, with cognitive-behavioral and insight oriented interventions. I emphasize trust and acceptance in the therapeutic relationship in order to understand the situation. I think that the person who decides to do psychotherapy is investing for a better life.
