My name is Misty Grimes, and I am licensed in Colorado with 12 years of professional employment as an LCSW. I have experience in helping clients with stress, anxiety, recovery/coping with addictions, trauma, domestic abuse, self-motivation, self-esteem, and confidence. I work with my clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. It takes courage to seek out a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. I am here to support & empower you in that journey. I provide a safe non-judgmental space to process and heal from life’s challenges and trauma. It is my goal to assist you in finding a new perspective and wisdom that you can apply in your daily life to improve your overall happiness and wellbeing. We are in this together, and my approach is to meet you where you are and assist you in becoming your best self. Life’s challenges and trauma can bring us down and hinder our spirit, dimming our light. Happiness is an inside job. In order for light to radiate throughout; it has to radiate from within.
