About me

Welcome to BetterHelp! I am an independent clinical social worker licensed in Massachusetts, with more than 25 years of experience working with individuals, couples and families. While my specialty is in adoption, foster care and early trauma, I am able to work with a broad range of concerns. My style is strengths-based, warm and interactive. I am flexible in my approach, and able to tailor it to your specific needs. I draw on my training in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Family Systems, Attachment-based therapy, ARC (Attachment, Regulation, Competency), Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy and Solutions Oriented Brief therapy, and base my approach in compassionate listening. I believe in treating people with respect and dignity, and in protecting their privacy. I strive to create a safe, nonjudgemental and comfortable environment in which to explore new understanding, hope and direction. It takes courage to reach out for help, and I’m glad you’re here.
