About me

Hello my name is Patricia “Patt” Carrington. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Wisconsin. I am a compassionate professional with 30 years of experience in providing social services, case management and trauma counseling working with diverse groups of all ages. I have a calm and easy-going demeanor with the ability to a create a working rapport, develop trust and maintain meaningful relationships. I am non-judgmental, solution focused, and results-oriented. My specialties include working with individuals whom suffer from anxiety, depression, anger management concerns, adjustment disorders and substance use. I work with individuals, couples, and youths as they face challenges through life’s transitions. Together we will work as a team to find workable solutions that fit in your life’s journey. I began my career as a social worker working with women and children impacted by abuse and trauma issues. I love helping people find the best path for themselves, as you are the most knowledgeable about what works best in your life. My therapy style and approach is influenced by Solution-Focused Therapy which is future-focused, goal-directed, and focuses on solutions to help you get to the place in your life where you can be the best version of yourself. We will work together as a team to help you set goals and learn ways to navigate life’s daily challenges. Thank you for checking out my site! Before we start working together I just wanted to give a little information about scheduling. I am available evenings and weekends.
