She focuses on ensuring that each client feels heard and respected, while working to build a foundation of trust, and believes that everyone brings their own story and experiences to the client/therapist relationship. Rachel’s approach is collaborative, providing guidance while gently challenging clients, when therapeutically necessary. Rachel possesses a Bachelor’ s degree from the University of Maryland in Family Studies and a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Maryland. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker-Certified (LCSW-C), Rachel works with a wide variety of clients in different settings, such as schools, hospitals, and private practice. Her experience includes working with young adults with mental illness, or co-occurring disorders. Her expertise includes relationship issues, personal development, depression and anxiety issues, trauma, autism, attention issues and executive functioning, Rachel is a passionate therapist who believes that therapy should be a positive experience for each individual while motivating positive change and a more fulfilling life.
