About me

Hello! I am a dually licensed mental health and substance abuse practitioner in the state of Nebraska. I have over 20 years of mental health counseling experience, and of those 20 years, 13 have been in the substance abuse treatment area. I have worked with individuals, group and families who have struggled with substance abuse and codependency issues. More recently I have had the opportunity to work with a senior population in an individual and group setting addressing difficulties such as depression and anxiety. In addition, my 20 years of counseling experience has afforded me opportunities to work with unique individuals. I believe each individual carries their own unique experiences, strengths, and weaknesses which require an individualized and unique approach to their counseling needs. I am happy to provide a warm and accepting atmosphere for my clients where they can feel comfortable and at ease to share their difficulties and personal progress. My holistic counseling style is transparent, direct, honest, and open. I believe everyone deserves to be listened to and given an opportunity to share their feelings, fears, hopes and dreams in a safe and nonjudgemental counseling environment. It takes a courageous person to ask for help. Reaching out for help is the first step to healing. I am eager to help you process through your life’s challenges!
