As a licensed marriage and family therapist I provide a holistic and systemic perspective towards individual counseling and couples therapy. I’ve had the privilege of working with clients facing a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, healing from trauma, coping with grief, financial struggles, relationship challenges, career/work hurdles, adjustment to life changes, family or interpersonal conflicts, parenting struggles, and coping with general life’s stressors. I assist clients with achieving the profound benefits of working toward one’s authentic self, strengthening one’s internal dialogue and building a resilient wellness kit to navigate life’s ups and downs. A strong and healthy sense of self is the foundation for effective emotional well-being, personal growth, and maintaining healthy connections with others. My interactions with clients are focused on maintaining a respectful, insightful, and empathetic environment. I work with clients at their pace and their comfort level towards the achievement of their desired goals and the maintenance of these goals. My clinical approach is rooted in strength-based narrative therapy; recognizing my clients are the experts in their lives, and my role is to guide and support them on their journey of healing and transformation. My therapeutic approach is strongly influenced by Narrative therapy and Cognitive therapy. There guiding principles supports my clinical mantra – Think, Feel, Act; meaning our thoughts impact our feelings and how we feel impact how we interact with others and the world. The decision to seek assistance indicates a desire to achieve one’s goals and willingness to begin the process of self-healing and self-discovery.
