I believe that change happens when people are given the proper guidance and tools needed to pursue their goals while also giving them the autonomy to pull on their own strengths and qualities that will get them to the finish line. I provide clients with a space full of compassion and support to help them overcome obstacles and move forward in life. My therapeutic experience mostly consists of services provided to adult and adolescent clients struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, family conflict, and stress related issues. I tailor various therapeutic modalities such as, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Positive Psychology and Motivational Interviewing according to the client’s individual needs and wants. I believe that everyone is entitled to pursue and live a fulfilling and happy life. I graduated from the University of Central Florida with my Bachelor’s degree in Social Work in 2014 and soon after graduated from Florida Atlantic University with my Master’s in Social work in 2015 through the Advanced Standing Program. I have gained years of experience in a variety of settings and with diverse clients, including long term and brief interventions. Areas of concentration include: • Adults, children and adolescents with behavioral issues • Anxiety, depression and other various DSM V diagnosis • Life stresses and next steps • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy interventions and techniques provided via individual, group, or family sessions • Psychoeducation and referral resources to aide client and family experiencing need. I believe that a large part of wellness is having healthy, meaningful relationships, not just with others, but with ourselves. Change happens when we are honest with ourselves about what is missing in our lives, and what we need from ourselves and others. I am willing to work together building skills that will help you move forward in life.
