Hi, my name is Vicki and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Pennsylvania. It takes courage to seek therapy and difficult to find a therapist you connect with. I believe in creating a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship. I have over 20 years of counseling experience and it is an honor to have people put their trust in me. As a counselor, I employ cognitive behavioral therapy, cognitive restructuring/reframing, and help you identify and address coping styles that are no longer effective for you, however, I tailor therapy to your needs. Together we will examine your core beliefs, dysfunctional assumptions, and your negative automatic thoughts,. We will work on replacing them. Although I am the counselor, our relationship is collaborative and we will work together to effectively define problems, set goals, and develop skills to manage these problems. I want to assure you that I am here to listen to you and help you gain insight.
