About me

Hi, my name is Peter Miller and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas. I graduated from Texas Tech University with a Masters of Education with a focus in clinical and mental health counseling. I have over 5 years experience working directly with parents and children as well as adoption and foster care families. I am currently working in the field of addiction and have experience addressing other mental health issues, such as, depression, anxiety, anger, etc. I enjoy getting to know others and being able to work on life’s difficulties together. I believe in counseling as a tool to use in order to obtain a more fulfilled and enjoyable life. I take a cognitive behavioral approach that is client centered. I believe that you are the expert of your own life and that my role is to be a sounding board and to help and guide you on your journey through life.
