About me

Hello and Welcome! I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 15 years of experience serving clients in both Arizona and Texas, where I currently reside. I specialize in supporting individuals navigating significant life challenges, including: Stress and Anxiety, Inner Child Work & Trauma (understanding how what happened to us as children ultimately affects our adult patterns and relationships), Family Conflicts, Grief and Loss, Depression, & Spiritual Guidance. I believe we humans are so much more than a diagnosis. Seeking a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage, and I commend you for taking this important step towards change. My aim is to support and empower you on your journey, focusing on the holistic connection between mind, body, and soul. Integrating Spirituality and Mindfulness: My practice embraces spirituality as a personal journey, distinct from religion, providing a space where you can explore deeper connections in a way that feels right for you. Here’s how I incorporate this approach: ~Personal Spiritual Exploration: Encouraging you to discover and nurture your own spiritual path, whatever that may look like for you. ~Mindful Practices: Incorporating techniques like meditation and mindfulness to help you find peace and clarity. ~Open Conversations: Creating a supportive environment where you can express your spiritual beliefs and aspirations freely and without judgement. Drawing from The Power of Now: A foundational element of my therapeutic approach is the wisdom found in Eckhart Tolle’s ‘The Power of Now’. While my work is clinical and evidence-based, I integrate Tolle’s core teachings to help you move beyond the limiting patterns of thought and emotion. Specifically, we may explore: ~The Present Moment: Learning to anchor your awareness in the “Now,” which is the only place where true change and peace can occur. We’ll practice observing thoughts and emotions without judgment, preventing the mind from pulling you into past regret or future anxiety. ~Ego and “Pain-Body”: Understanding how the ego and accumulated emotional pain (Tolle’s “pain-body”) create suffering. By becoming the observer of these patterns, you can disidentify from them and significantly reduce their hold on your life. ~Inner Peace: Using mindfulness to create an inner spaciousness, allowing you to access a deeper sense of stillness and well-being that is independent of external circumstances. I can be that safe space for you. Let’s connect!
