Healing and discovery starts from wherever you are! I believe that therapy is about the discovery of possibilities, of alternatives, about thinking better of one’s self! It may include revisiting the past, healing wounds, or finding strengths that you didn’t know you had! It may be about finding purpose, finding your way, making things better, discovering hope, or feeling heard! It can be about knowing that you have a place in this world, or discovering that you’re ‘good enough’—just as you are! I believe in Person-Centered Therapy; in other words—you are at the center of your world and therapy, (making things better), can start from wherever you are! I also believe that we are all products of both our inherited characteristics and our environments and that no one succeeds alone! We all need help from time to time! We need each other! For over 13 years, I have been listening and helping professionally. However, as a daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, employee, friend, student, fellow traveler on this human journey, I have been listening and helping all of my life.
