I am in this profession because I want to help others in achieving the vision of optimal living they have for themselves. I make space for free and fluid communication and am a highly attuned listener. Most importantly, I believe in my clients. I hold a PhD and am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of Florida and a Certified Trauma Practitioner with over 25 years in the field. Having worked with clients of all ages with a broad range of concerns, including trauma, anxiety, self-esteem issues, depression, racial discrimination, emotional abuse, and interpersonal conflicts, I am equipped to offer my vast experience, education, and training to meet your needs. My therapeutic approach is based on holistic, mindful, and direct, client-centered methods. I combine a range of modalities such as Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Mindfulness Psychotherapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Positive Psychology to assist in attaining the best outcome. I take pride in my ability to empathize, as I treat all clients with respect, dignity, and compassion. My aim is to maintain a safe, supportive space that holds a healed vision for true healing and unlimited positive potential. From there, we delve into the deeper root causes, unconscious attitudes, or beliefs that may be hindering you from fully attaining the vision you hold for yourself.
