I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Mississippi with 6+ years of mental health experience. My experience comes from assisting adults and older adults learn how to effectively cope with unexpected life changes, stress, depression, anxiety, trauma and abuse, self- esteem/confidence issues, & other varying types and severities of mental illness. I work with my clients whether in individual, family, or group setting to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. I strive to meet you where you are while empowering you to do what is needed to make the changes you want to see. I believe collaborative practice is best practice so I collaborate with you at your pace to achieve your goals. My therapeutic approaches are: motivational interviewing (MI), strengths-based, solution-focused, problem solving, task centered, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and acceptance therapy.
