Michael Lenok (LMHC)

Hi, I’m Michael Lenok, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who specializes in working with individuals struggling with addiction and substance use. I bring both real-life experience and clinical expertise to this work, which allows me to connect with clients in a way that’s grounded, authentic, and deeply empathetic. My therapeutic approach is primarily rooted in existential therapy and reality therapy, with a focus on helping clients find meaning, take action, and create lasting change. I also incorporate other modalities such as CBT and solution-focused therapy, depending on each client’s unique needs. I work most often with young adults but have experience supporting adults of all ages through a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, trauma, identity issues, and life transitions. I strive to create a space that is inclusive and welcoming for clients of all backgrounds—regardless of gender, race, ethnicity, or sexual orientation. My goal is always to meet you where you are and help you build a life that feels meaningful and aligned with who you truly are.
